New Class Location to Teach at - Oasis Escondido ( North County)

In an Introduction to Zentangle class  (just the basics folks),  I always stress the importance of the second class being "Zentangle Beyond Basic".  We learned tangleations, tango's, string theory, more complex tangles --- and so much more.   How to go beyond abstract tiles.

Have I sparked your interest?  Register for a Beyond Basic class today and you won't be left in kindergarten anymore... Step into a higher level of tangling.  Tons more fun when you go the next phase.

Thanks for joining me in class today ladies - Kaye, Nancy and Jennifer.

Learning Mooka tangle.

Sunday Fun Day With Alcohol Ink

Today's class was with a new media Alcohol Ink.  Super vibrant colors.
Whether you color ceramic tile or glass egg --- the results were the same.
AMAZING and FUN

With or without "tangles", these tiles are gorgeous.

Ohhh, ahhhh, pretty Easter eggs.

Tangle Folk With Some Dangle Design

What a beautiful summer like day in San Diego California (75 degrees). It was so warm I taught my Tangle Folk class on the lanai (patio). Billie Lauder introduced these little whimsical tangle folk several years ago and I love them.  These folks are drawn with one continuous line.
Add hair, clothes, a face and whaaalaa  -- Tangle folk.

Sharon and Jayne were introduced to a ZIA (Zentangled Insired Art).  If your piece isn't abstract, then it is a ZIA.  Since Valentine's Day is tomorrow, we drew a heart around our folks and used Joanne Fink's Zenspirations art to dangle and dazzle up our heart!!!! I love Joanne's dangles.  Oh, and I had Valentine chocolate on hand.  Yummy

HARD AT WORK....
  GREAT JOB LADIES

Hobby Lobby Demonstration

Recently, I presented Zentangle Art Method @ Hobby Lobby
"to see if there was any interest for classes".
As usual,  anyone that took 5 minutes to learn a tangle asked "when is the classes. I want to come"!!!

My favorite students are the kids.
They get so excited when they see how simple art can be with this method.
Zentangle really does take the "hard" out of art.

  Teens !!!

Look, they even made up some of their own tangles....  Awesome

Families.. dad's, guys, moms, gals, kids - all love it.

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY & Zentangle

Yes, it is finally here !!!  The best day of football 2016, and some of you might say "finally, the last football game on TV for this season, now I can get the remote back".

Anyway you see it, you will probably be spending a lot of time in front of the "tele" this Sunday. The pre game, during game, and after game.  Perfect time to get your Micron pen and tiles out and tangle. A whole day just my hubby and me -  (if you are with other folks, great time to share with your friends this amazing art form when they ask "what are you doing").   Enjoy the game, the food and your tangles.
May the best team win........ and my football pool numbers come up....
