This was no "April Fool's" Joke Zentangle Class Today

Today at San Diego Oasis "Introduction to Zentangle" was a warm, relaxing, learning environment. Talented ladies and a great time spent together. Below, the ladies checking out how different and alike at the same time the tiles come out.    Thanks for a wonderful afternoon.

What a lovely group of ladies to learn Beyond Paper Zentangle class at San Diego Oasis today.  First I introduced three new patterns "Paradox, Betweed, and Tripoli  The girls drew their string,  picked their patterns and completed their wallets.  Oh la la ladies.

Weekly Challenge #208: "Duotangle - Cubine vs Pokeroot"

I just love me some duotangle.

A duotangle is a term that originated here on my blog - and it means to use ONLY TWO tangles and their tanglations throughout your tile. 

For this week's challenge please use only Cubine and Pokeroot and their variations. (follow the links for the step outs)

I used Cubine for my border and wrapped Pokeroot around it.  That was fun !!!

Color Me Beautful in the Sea

What great students I had today.  We learned all about ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) and how to apply watercolor pencils with a blending pen (the magic tool if you haven't used one yet).
