Billie Lauder shared her Tangle Folk with us and I'm waiting for her book (hopefully soon) to come out. I love these little people. Thanks Billie. Put me first on the list for the book.
What a fun tile...I like her leggings and the backside of the fabric showing too...many details in your creation and just a little color makes it all merry and bright!
She reminds me of Suzy Snowflake, which is a Chicago Christmas tradition from early TV days. Look her up on Youtube! OK, now the song is stuck in my head..."Here comes Suzy Snowflake..."
What a lovely, whimsical response to the guest Diva's challenge this week. I'm impressed that you were inspired to place your doll into an entire composition. You made me smile.
Hmmm Suzie Snowflake was interesting..... never heard of her. Thanks for the post and all the nice postings.. I'm glad I was able to make a lot of folks smile with this post.
Janet, this is such a festive and fun piece. I love Billie's Tangle Folk and was thrilled to see someone create one for the challenge. Your doll is adorable, and I love your Verdigogh. Wow, I'm totally having Suzie Snowflake flashbacks from my mom singing that all the time. Thank you for playing with my challenge this week. :-)
Lovely lady with Ahh snow and the Verdigogh holly bush.

ReplyDeleteThat's a wicked looking Verdigogh and the whole tile has a whimsical style that I really like.
ReplyDeleteYour whole tile is just magical. The dolly is adorable and your verdigogh is excellent. I agree with Margaret....very whimsical!
