This weeks Diva Challenge was to used the pattern Betweed as a monotangle.
This looks so intricate and is so fun to draw. Like Maria Roberts (co-founder of Zentangle)
said "you get lost in the moment".
(remember to scroll down to posting).

When you hear that 1 out of 3 women will have breast cancer,
this month's Diva Challenge is very important to us all.
I'm sure everyone knows someone that has been hit with this reality.
Being a hairdresser by trade, many of my client/several of my family members
have battled this horribly disease.. Some were lucky and some were not.
Please pray for hope and love to all that are in the battle for their life,
not only breast cancer but all cancer.
Fight Fight Fight to my sister-in-law battling ovarian cancer now.

Daniel wrote to "the Diva" with his heartfelt message for this weeks challenge:
His name is Daniel, and he is 12 years old.
Daniel told me that October 11th is National Coming Out Day. Daniel's friend is gay, and so he wanted me to help him support his friend and to issue a challenge with a LGBT theme.
Daniel says:I think it would be a good way to further inspire tanglers and raise awareness if you considered a challenge to somehow put some aspect of LGBT in a tile. Perhaps using the colors of the rainbow, or using tangles that start with L, G, B, and T, or using those letters as a string?
This is Daniel's Zentangle tile for this week. This is such coincidence that the Diva Challenge this week is "National Coming Out Week" Tomorrow my brother-in-law in Arizona is getting married to his partner after more than a decade of being together. I'm so happy for them.
Here is my Zentangle tile for them.

Rick and Maria shared a day at the Rijks Museum in Amsterdam
(if you never had the pleasure of meeting them, they are amazing, interesting, humbled folks).
They challenged us all to do the same - find a local museum and wander.
Just open your mind and notice. Zentangle patterns everywhere !!!
Thank you Rick and Maria for Zentangle.
