DIVA Challenge #178 Duo-tangle

This weeks Diva Challenge was to draw a duo-tangle based on your initials.
After looking at "J" and "M" patterns, I had to use these two.
"J" (for Janet) is represented (for my biggest fear in life -sharks) so I used the pattern - JAW2 .
The "M" (for Masey) is represented by a brand new pattern by Betsy Wilson - Maryhill.

I met Betsy at CZT 14 Seminar, June 2014
and she showed and told us about her pattern she was going to submit.
How exciting to have your pattern accepted.
Thanks for a great tangle Betsy.

African Mud House

This mud house is in Burkina Faso, West Africa.   There is an extraordinary isolated village, closed to outsiders.  This house is the residence of the chief and royal court.  Zentangle?  You bet ya.

Henna Tattoo

Henna Tattoo  is a lot like Zentangle....
Emilee (our guest this week) got a henna tattoo at Belmont Park in San Diego,
When she came home I said... I can do that....
This is my first stab at a henna like tangle...
I wonder which pen would be good to use on skin? anyone tried it yet?

 Bring Your Own Beverage
My favorite food is Italian, and last nite at Fillipi's Italian Cuisine in San Diego,
I got this idea from my Chianti.

Just had to draw two tiles for this week.
My other favorite drink is always something tropical in Hawaii.
This tile is inspired by Botanical Garden ebook by - Cheryl Moote.

4th of July Celebration

Nothing like a BBQ of burgers and dog to celebrate this Independence Day !!! One added feature for my family and friends - a Zentangle class. All seven participates did a great job. I snapped a mosaic of the results of their hard labor.  My husband impressed me with his very first tile and he enjoyed the class and could feel the relaxation of the process.

You just don't get it till you do it. Look for a CZT in your area.
