Tierrasanta Library Begins Their Zentangle Journey

HAPPY NEW YEAR TANGLERS !!!

Today was my very first class to teach in the new year of 2020.
Who doesn't like the sound of that?  New year, new decade. 

Tierrasanta Library patrons joined me today and began their Zentangle journey with an Introduction to Zentangle class - the basic's.  I teach over 40 different classes with the Zentangle Method in mind.  I will always encourage a tangler to start at the beginning - just like kindergarten.  You will learn the history, philosophy, and techniques to create a original Zentangle tile.

Eighteen lovely men and women began their journey today - learning four basic Zentangle patterns. After class we gather our tiles (that what we call our paper) and let everyone see that we are all individuals and each artist renders their own process of my instruction.  Fun looking at the wonderful expression of Zentangle art.

I always encourage students to bring tangles to share. This lovely piece was created for a family member graduating from college.  Nice job.
