Allied Gardens/Benjamin Library Finds Their Heart

Before you know it, January will be gone, and onto February.  Twenty one of us got a head start on Valentine's Day and created a ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) Valentine's Day project at Allied Gardens/Benjamin Library in San Diego, California.

We created a Valentine Bouquet using The Zentangle Method of drawing structured patterns.  Typically, Zentangle is abstract, but this is one of many classes I teach with The Zentangle Method in mind using the patterns (tangles) to bling up an art project.

One of my favorite part of the class is when all the students bring their work together and we all look at everyone's interpretation of the instruction.

One of the ladies brought her son, and this is his work below.  I LOVE it.  Thanks for coming.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE
