Cool Down, You Move Too Fast

Holy cow!  It was 98 degrees in East County, San Diego today.  We gotta cool down.  I had just the perfect Zentangle class.  A Zentangle garden hand fan class.

This adorable German Shephard was in the library with his trainer (using the computer) next to our class.  The trainer said his doggie dog was a working dog.  She just passed the crosswalk button test.  Also, she was a portrait dog (not sure what that meant).  At some point during class, she quietly alerted the trainer that danger was near.  A wasp was on the floor next to him (and us).  Using a napkin, the trainer gently picked up the wasp and took it outside to survive another day.  Wow, that was a first for me.  My family is deathly allergic and we have no mercy.  Always something excting at the libraries.

We had a birthday celebration today - Sylvia.  I was so excited that her and her Mom, Pamela, started the celebration with me and a Zentangle class at the Lakeside Library.

This family was new to the Zentangle Method. Her daughter took to it like ducks to water.  Mom was surprised to see that art isn't hard with the Zentangle Method.

he class had the options always to color or not color.  Dooleedo was a bit of a challenge for some.  But don't you love to say the word?  Doo-lee-do.
